Dear General Graham:

	This is to accept your invitation to be on the Scientific and
Engineering Advisory Board of the Coalition for the Strategic Defense
Initiative.  My relevant competence and interest is to help refute
contentions that any principles of computer science imply that
the computer part of SDI can't work.  I am not at present in a
position to claim that a particular system will work, because the
computer problems to be solved are not yet sufficiently defined.
